Approximating pi with polygons
This visualisation shows how π can be approximated by using regular polygons inscribed within and circumscribed around a circle. As the number of sides (N) of the polygons increases, their perimeters get closer to the circumference of the circle. The inscribed polygon gives a lower bound for π, and the circumscribed polygon gives an upper bound.
