Maths tutoring

If you've paid for an annual teacher subscription then we're happy to add you to our list of available maths tutors. Here are some pointers to consider for your profile page:

  • Your name or tutoring business name
The name you would like shown publicly.
  • Your geographic location / tutoring area
Stick to where you are genuinely interested in travelling to... do you really want to travel 30 mins there and 30 mins back for a 1 hour session? (Effectively halving your rate of pay)
  • How you tutor
    Online, in person, or both.
  • Subjects and levels taught
For example: GCSE Maths, iGCSE Maths, KS3 Maths, A-level Maths, Foundation GCSE, Higher GCSE.
  • Exam boards covered
For example: Edexcel, AQA, OCR, iGCSE, or “all main GCSE exam boards”.
  • Your teaching/tutoring experience
A brief summary of your background, such as teaching experience, tutoring experience, school experience, or specialist areas.
  • Your tutoring style
For example: calm and patient, confidence-building, exam-focused, structured, diagnostic, supportive, stretch-and-challenge, or good for anxious learners.
  • Who you usually help
For example: Year 10/11 students, resit students, home-educated students, students aiming for Grade 4/5, students aiming for Grade 7–9, or students who have lost confidence.
  • What a typical lesson involves
A short description of how you work: identifying gaps, modelling examples, guided practice, homework, exam questions, feedback to parents, etc.
  • Availability / format
Only include what you are comfortable publishing, such as weekday evenings, weekends, term-time only, online lessons, local home visits, or limited spaces.
  • Contact link
Your website, booking page, tutoring profile, email address, or another preferred contact method.
  • Optional: short testimonial or quote
Only include this if you have permission to use it.
  • Optional: qualifications / credentials
Such as PGCE, QTS, degree, DBS information, teaching role, or tutoring platform profile. Avoid sharing anything you do not want made public.
  • Anything you do not want published
For example, exact address, school name, personal phone number, surname, or availability details. Don't forget... students that you DON'T tutor will be able to find this information too!

Once you've put together your profile page then contact us to get listed.
